This application is a shutdown management application which can be configured to turn your computer off in certain situations such as lack of activity, lack of network usage or other situations when your system should be automatically shut down.

As a freeware portable application, the program uses very little in terms of system resources while sporting a minimalist user interface featuring the main functions of DShutdown.

The left-hand side of the user interface has a list of different activities which can be triggered such as log off, shutdown, power off, reboot, standby, etc. The right side contains the systems on the network which should be shut down also with a list of different start and stop options.

One cool option is the selection of which network adapter to monitor for usage; when nothing is downloading or uploading and the network is idle, you can configure DShutdown to turn off the PC.

Overall, DShutdown is a competent utility with an easy-to-understand interface containing the main features of the program, providing an effective way to manage when your system shuts down or simply enters hibernation mode, among others.
